I really need your pattern! Can you help me? Your waist band drawing was helpful. I don't know how to fold/cut the fabric. Help please!
ReplyDeleteHi Bobbins, there are no folds. You need to cut 4 identical pieces of fabric, all around each side. That way, your stripes will meet at the side. I didn't use a pattern, apart from the front skirt pieces of the Collete Crepe. I just made a waistband piece by drawing round the upper part of the skirt and continuing it up for a couple of inches or so, gently tapering it at the sides. I don't know how else to explain it. Hope it helps!
