Well I haven't been idle, it's just that I don't have any sewing time ... I completely forgot that I was going on a pattern cutting course at the end of March - thought it was later - which means that although I have the Burda Bomber lined up as my next project, I still haven't been able to do it yet. I've also been 'home' to Manchester and started on the design work for my C&G Sweater assignment. I'm completely enjoying being on the 'fringes' of sewing though. I've done part of the pattern cutting course, which has been one of the best days I've spent lately and I'm also loving 'The Great British Sewing Bee' as Tuesday night's TV viewing.
I am a busy bee! 'Bees' are everywhere - did you know that it's the mascot on the Manchester coat of arms, as an industrial symbol? Then there's Sewing Bee and finally, I've treated myself to a silver bee from
Silver by Teresa. It arrived a couple or so weeks ago but I haven't been able to blog about it because of my business ... Anyway, as you can see, it's beautiful ...

ReplyDeleteI am so jealous of you all getting to see the British Sewing Bee.. For some reason, they put
episode 2 on you tube, but the other ones, we can;t see.. I want to see them so bad.. I have been just waiting for them,ha.. i heard that they are working on a USA one now.. [But honestly, I don't think it will be as nice as yours is... Our project runway, has really un-nice people on it, and they are not polite..eeeh..]..So, I go back to wishing I could see them,ha. Have fun and enjoy..
Hope you get to see the other episodes Judy - I'm really looking forward to the final one this coming Tuesday ...
