An interlude ... Zandra Rhodes Dressmaking School - Couture Techniques!

I was just about to write my round up of knitting for 2013 but there is intervening news! I found out today that there were 3 cancellations on this course for Saturday: 'Led by Zandra Rhode’s dressmaker Jolanta Cerniauskiene, this workshop will give you the know-how and confidence to work with high end fabrics such as chiffon and silk satin. Using a sewing machine, you will learn a range of techniques including French seam, pin hem, satin stitch, button loops, pockets, machine rolled hem with fishline, boning and much more! You will come away with your own samples for each technique. This workshop is open to anyone who knows how to use a sewing machine.'  I managed to get a place. How exciting is that!!!!! I really can't wait ... There's free entry to the last day of the Bellville Sassoon exhibition too.  So pleased I could get to see this after all.
