Sew Cinematic - To Be Screened At A Later Date ...

Well, I got as far as finding the pattern and I very nearly had the fabric, which I spotted at Croft Mill, but wasn't quick enough off the mark to get some of it.  There was 2.5 metres left - exactly what I needed, but by the time I was able to order it, there was only 1.5 metres!  How frustrating was that!  It was in a beautiful shade of Royal Blue and woven in a Yorkshire Mill which I think sold out quickly because of the Jubilee.  Anyway, I'm still on the look out for the perfect fabric for this pattern, which I treated myself to when it was my birthday.  This is my first really old pattern and I sent off to the States for it.  So, I do intend to do this challenge but not entirely sure when...  I'm off fabric hunting at the weekend, so fingers crossed!

Don't know why but Blogger won't let me post a photograph of my pattern at the moment ... I'll try again in the next couple of days ...

Here it is!

I love the Princess Seams on the jacket

  2. Can't wait to see it when you do get the fabric you wanted! Also, I had problems posting photos on blogger too. I ended up posting the code directly in the HTML version of the post (slightly annoying).
