Sew Weekly

Since the beginning of this year, I've been following the themes set by the online challenge, 'The Sew Weekly'. My attempts so far include a Chanel style dress, a parka style coat influenced by something already seen in a shop, a blue flowered shirtdress, a top using fabric I already stashed away, a candy coloured tunic and a Valentine's apron.

I'm currently doing a City and Guilds qualification in hand knitting. I'm in the middle of module 3, but my favourite so far has been module 2 which concentrates on colour.

I had a picture in an exhibition and as a result, I received this commission. It's pen and wash, my favourite technique, depicting the harbour in Mousehole, Cornwall.
