Beaded Scarves - My latest Sew Weekly creation
These are in a velvety velour fabric that changes colour in the light and has a lovely drape to it. I found lots of colourways in Abakhan, Manchester - blues, browns, greens. I've edged them all with hand sewn beaded fringing found in my local fabric shop.

Sew Weekly II
Next up for Sew Weekly are a dress inspired by Coco Chanel, a Tunic in a Liberty Art Print (I think it may be Kaffe Fassett fabric), and a 40's/50's inspired apron - again, not the best photos but I'll get better! My sewing skills are improving and my wardrobe expanding ... Not too sure that the colours in the tunic suit me but I like the garment - an Amy Butler pattern - and will probably make it again.
